At just 15 years old, Kaylah already carries a story that spans two countries. Born and raised in New Jersey, she had the unique experience of living in Ecuador before returning to the United States, where she now attends high school in New York. That journey between cultures has given her a deep appreciation for her Ecuadorian roots and a profound pride in being American Ecuadorian.

Known by those closest to her as someone with a warm heart and a giving spirit, Kaylah is the kind of young woman who leads by example. As the oldest of four siblings, she has naturally embraced the role of protector, mentor, and helper — qualities that define not just who she is at home, but who she is in the world.

With her sights set on a future in law, Kaylah is driven by a desire to advocate for others and make a meaningful difference in her community. She believes that where you come from does not limit where you are going — and she lives that belief every single day.
